Salmson AL3 1923
- In the same family for over 40 years
- German registration document
- Classic restoration
Salmson was purchased by its current owner in the early 1980s in France.
The French company Salmson first made a name for itself in aircraft engine manufacture before turning to carmaking. AL stands for André Lombard.
The engine mounted at the front of the vehicle is connected to a 3-speed gearbox and allows a top speed of 110 km/ h (about 68 mph).
Its sporty styling is emphasised by the roadster bodywork: a two-seat sports cabriolet that is primarily distinguished by its light weight.
