Description
Mercedes-Benz SL 320 (R129), first registered in August 1994, of German origin and imported to Portugal in 2000.
This model belongs to the R129 generation, one of the sturdiest and most technically accomplished roadsters produced by Mercedes-Benz in the 1990s. Designed in an era when engineering rigour took precedence over cost considerations, the R129 combines structural rigidity, comfort and suitability for long journeys with a remarkable level of quality for a cabriolet.
This SL 320 version is equipped with the M104 3. 2-litre inline-six engine, developing 231 bhp and around 315 Nm of torque. Power is delivered in a linear and refined manner, enabling a 0-100 km/ h time of about 7 seconds and a top speed close to 240 km/ h, while preserving the comfort of a genuine grand tourer.
The car has covered 146, 000 km and presents in excellent overall condition. It benefits from a recent repaint in its original Mercedes-Benz dark grey colour. The grey leather interior is very well preserved, the soft top is in excellent condition and the original hardtop is included. The mechanics are described as flawless and the vehicle is fitted with new tyres.
A coherent and meticulously maintained example of the R129, combining performance, comfort and long-term potential for value appreciation.
