The Appeal

With its distinctive, squared styling, and a top-performing V8, the full-sized, distinctive Mercury may not be quite as iconic as many big ol'American land liners of the period - but it has all of the character, with plenty to spare. These big, boxy sedans represented an executive level of luxury, filled with plenty of chrome and big bench seats. They're symbolic of an era - and demand attention wherever they go.

This 1965 model is a prime example of the Marauder's appeal, with its 390 CI V8 engine and automatic transmission. What sets this particular vehicle apart is its excellent condition, having been imported from California in 2000 and kept rust-free. The car runs, shifts, and drives very well, and has even been treated to an LPG conversion
