Highlights

  • Tribute to the late great George Roeder, AMA Grand National Champion and Hall of Fame inductee
  • Constructed using a genuine Harley Davidson works frame engine and Knight frame

The Appeal

Developed primarily for American dirt track racing, the Harley Davidson XR 750 went on to become the most successful bike in AMA racing history. The XR 750 was even favoured by the great Evel Knievel for his daring jumps during the 1970s, thanks to its immense reserves of power and rugged construction.
Made in homage to the late great racer George Roeder, this 1970 example has been painstakingly constructed with the aid of Harley Davidson racing legends and the use of genuine period parts. Former Crew Chief and mechanic, Brent Armbruster along with Randy Goss, former AMA Grand National champion and member of the Harley Davidson racing team were involved in the project, as were George’s son Geo Roeder, Steve Morehead and Greg Frutchey.
Finished to an exemplary standard and reportedly running very well, this XRT 750 has found its way to the UK and is complete with its NOVA certification. Be sure not to miss this unrepeatable opportunity to acquire a unique piece of American motorcycle racing history.
