The Attractions

Restoring an E-Type is the best way to create the 'perfect' car, a blank canvas on which to apply your favourite specifications and colours. But cars for restoration that are still authentic are becoming rare, which makes this car a great opportunity.

It is a Series 2 OTS with left-hand drive and manual transmission that spent its entire life in the United States before being imported to Belgium in 2020. A restoration began there before the seller acquired the car in December 2023 in its current condition.

The car was sandblasted and black primer was applied to prevent corrosion. The bodywork is complete but the accessories and trim are largely absent. However, it has correct serial numbers, as confirmed by the Heritage Certificate supplied with the car.

For a creative and forward-thinking buyer, this is a fantastic opportunity to build his ideal E-Type and preserve a rare left-hand-drive Series 2. It is undoubtedly worthy of the effort required and is certainly an interesting project.
