THE APPEAL
Probably the most famous roadster ever built, the MGB, sold for almost 20 years in more than 500,000 units, has gained cult status and is one of the most celebrated and collected vintage cars.
Agile, snappy and with an extremely engaging drive, thanks to the low and light bodywork that makes you feel at one with the road, the MGB refreshed the panorama of small two-seater sports cars in the early 1960s introducing a revolutionary and much-imitated formula.
With a new robust monocoque, a simple and refined design that recalls the grand tourers of the time and a comfortable, well-equipped and stylish interior, the MGB was the forerunner of a new generation of charming spiders with relatively low prices and very easy to maintain.
This beautiful Roadster was built in the last year in which the car was available with the chrome-plated steel bumpers, which make it particularly desirable and give it an irresistibly vintage look.
After being imported to Europe from Canada in good condition the bodywork has been repainted and the mechanics fine-tuned, while the underbody has received an anti-rust treatment to preserve it over time.
Repainted in its original iconic Signal Red, with a well-preserved interior and well maintained mechanics, this MGB represents a significant opportunity to make your own a very good example of one of the world's best known and loved cars in really good condition and ready to drive.
