1988 Rover Mini Designer by Mary Quant. The Designer mini was designed by Mary Quant and has a unique and striking look. They were made in black or white with Nimbus grey bumpers and grills etc and a black and white striped fabric interior with Mary Quant logos. It also has a unique soft grey leather steering wheel. It is based on a 998 cc carburettor mini and just 2000 were made. I have never had a Designer mini before and they are very rare. This outstanding example was been owned by one lady owner for the first 33 years. I bought it from her in 2021 and sold it to a Mini fanatic in Jersey. It has been garaged from new and has now covered just 11200 miles. The condition is ‘time warp’, and all of the paint is factory original and in lovely, original condition. It has been loved by its owners and treated as one of the family. It is very rare to find examples like this with the grey headlight rims and bumpers still in excellent condition. I have the complete book pack, both sets of keys and all of the paperwork and past MOT's from new.
This must be one of the very best remaining examples of this super rare mini.
