Designed by Ercole Spada, the Lancia Fulvia Zagato 1600 is one of the most sought-after variants in the Fulvia range, combining Lancia's precision engineering with Zagato's lightweight, aerodynamic bodywork. Produced in just 800 examples (compared to 5,300 for the 1300 cm³ version), it is now extremely rare and sought after by collectors.

- Crankshaft overhauled (ground to 0.10), metalloscopy, surface treatment by nitriding
- Cylinder head tested, ground, seats and valves ground, guides replaced
- Camshaft bearings polished, clearances checked
- Engine block tested, treated with specific Restom resin, re-bored to 82.4 mm
- Seal surfaces checked and ground
- Connecting rods sized and rounded, bearings replaced
- New pistons, pins and piston rings
- Timing chain and tensioner replaced
- New valve springs, guides and oil seals
- Crankshaft and connecting rod bearings replaced
- Engine gaskets, front/rear spinnaker seals
