The Appeal
The Series 2 V8 introduced the sculpted and purposeful front end update to William Towns’ original that has become synonymous with these fastback GTs. Just 239 were built, featuring a then-innovative and more efficient fuel injection system.
This car, beautifully finished in dark blue with gold-centred wheels, is an older restoration by Aston Workshop that is in very good order. A previous keeper commissioned a full respray, new carpets and wheel refurbishment. It comes to market fresh from £6,000 of work by the vendor that covered fuel system, electrics, gearbox, a new speedometer cable, track rod ends and calliper refurbishment.
The result is a car that is both highly presented and mechanically sorted. A useful voluntary MOT underlines that point. It runs to February 2026.
