Ford Escort 1300L, featured on Wheeler Dealers in February 2013.
I bought the car from Wheeler Dealers, I had my 2 minutes of fame on screen.
Since buying, I uprated the engine to a 1600 xflow bored out to 1700cc, fast road cam, twin 45 carbs, full 2. 5 inch stainless steel manifold and exhaust, type 9 five speed gear box, mk4 RS seats trimmed in Italian leather with the rear seats trimmed to match, RS2000 mk2 wheels, unleaded head, (hardened valve seats).
The car still has the Quaife ATB Limited Slip Diff fitted by Ed China.
Drives perfectly, still used now and again, always starts and gets lots of attention.
Selling because I'm using her less and less and need my garage space back. Always garaged in my ownership and appears to have been kept indoors for many years. (It has the original strut tops with spot welds).
