1962 Hillman Minx Series IIIC Estate 1600cc. We are delighted to offer this very rare estate car. Pippin red and foam white with red leather upholstery and white piping. A very thorough restoration was carried out on the car some years ago and its still in fabulous condition today with super door gaps and shut lines. A lot of time has been spent researching the car to keep it as original as possible and as close as possible to the way it left the Coventry factory back in 1962. Driving just as well as it looks the car is happy in modern traffic and holds it own on the road, this is partly due to a SU Carburettor upgrade which greatly improves the Minx. A nice history folder is included with the car and this has a copy of Real Classics magazine which has a four page feature of this car as well as a picture on the front cover, also on file we have copies of bills and invoices as well as old mots but the most interesting items are the original lubrication chart, and Practical Motorist summer check chart. The registration number JFO 645 is transferable and valued at between £1500-£2000 on its own. The last registered keeper has owned the car since 2011. The MoT history confirms that since 2010 it was issued annually until 2017. Although now mot and tax exempt a fresh mot will be applied upon sale for your peace of mind.
