Here we have something little different. This Austin was fully restored during 2014, stripped to a bare shell and new inner sills fitted, new rear wheel arches, front wing repairs. All corrosion has been removed and the restoration was to an excellent standard. The underside is absolutely sound and all cavities have been properly waxoyled. The bodywork to this day is in very good order and presents well. The Austin is fitted with the B series 1800 cc engine which gives it a lot better performance than the original. It is currently running on Triumph Tr6 wheels, but can obviously be returned to standard should the buyer wish. The interior again is in good order having had seats retrimmed and new carpets fitted. There is a large history file containing details of all parts purchased, original drivers handbooks and workshop manuals. We have just presented it for mot , which it passed with no advisories whatsoever. We have had many of these cars and this example is structurally excellent.
