The Car Barn are very pleased to offer the 997 Carrera 2S for sale.
It is finished in Midnight Blue Metallic and has a grey leather interior.
We are offering this car for sale having just had a full engine rebuild by Hartech.
When the car arrived into us we checked and found the bores to be scored and the IMS and RMS were both leaking. We sent the engine away for a full rebuild including:
All new high strength aluminium alloy nickel silicon plated closed deck wet liners (all 6 cylinders).
New performance piston set with new rings.
New crank shaft main & thrust bearing set.
New performance big end bearing set.
New timing chain set with new guide rails.
New intermediate shaft bearing. (Assuming already running the late 2005 onwards version with larger bearing).
Basic cylinder head overhauls (strip down, de-coke heads & valves, re-lap valves to seats, skim & re-assemble with new valve stem oil seals).
New lower temperature thermostat.
As well as all the work above the car has had a new clutch, new rear shock absorbers, new front dampers, spring and strut tops and many other smaller things.
The car also has a number of optional extras including:
19" Sport Design alloy wheels
Rear park assist
Stainless Carrera kick plates
Multi-function sports steering wheel
Porsche Active Stability Management (PASM)
Porsche Communications Module 2 (PCM2) with satellite navigation and telephone compatibility
Cruise control
Xenon headlights with washers
Seat mounted fire extinguisher
The car has a full service history and is also very good cosmetically.

Now with new clutch, suspension and the full engine rebuild it is ready to be enjoyed for years to come.
