Opis
MINI by "Paul Smith" replica collection based on a 1994 1000 Sealine carburettor (the last before injection, reliable and it just sings!)
This Mini has an exceptional history.
Born as Sealine, it has covered only 38, 400 km since its delivery in 1994.
It became "Paul Smith" in 1999.
The true Paul Smith Mini was born when the first generation of the Mini was discontinued in 1998. It ended up painted with 86 stripes in 26 different colours.
Two examples were produced: one for Sir Paul Smith himself and the second for the Design Museum in London.
An icon was born from this collaboration.
The previous owner of the example shown here (a collector of British vehicles) fell in love with its design and exclusivity. He therefore decided as early as 1999 to transform it, into an automotive icon. A year of work, around £30k, with top craftsmen delivering this exceptional result!
The upholstery features degraded quilting and Ps-coloured stitching, badges, wheels, full wrap, glossed dashboard, steering wheel, mats... you can even find the grille badge in the shapes and colours of Great Britain, like the original!
Adjustable dampers, central sport exhaust, brakes. The work on the vehicle is not overlooked: it is lively, sure-footed and handles like a go-kart... and the sound
Our example has covered 700 km since its service, during which oil change, spark plugs, wheel cylinders, brake distributors, and front cradle treatment were carried out by a renowned specialist in British vehicles.
An MOT will be carried out before sale.
Original documentation.
The last sale of such a detailed replica took place at auction at Drouot, listed as a "work of art"...
We invite you to acquire a share of automotive history and British design, which runs perfectly and could be an exceptional daily, brings a smile and turns heads!
Green English-style cover included.
