This impressive Land Rover S3 88” was first registered on the 23rd of March 1984 – the very last year of production. It presents incredibly well in its Light Pastel Green body, Limestone wheels, and immaculate soft top. Visually, this colour combination is very striking and comes with a good level of originality, paired with comfort and convenience upgrades such as Deluxe front seats and the larger Defender-style wing mirrors for increased visibility.
On start up the 2282cc 4-cylinder has the fabulous burble that is so familiar with the S3 Land Rover, the engine unit is strong, fit and performs very well. The Rugged utilitarian performance is exactly as you would expect but whilst equipped with the larger 700 tyres cruising feels more relaxed without a negative impact on the steering. Greatly improving the driving experience is the additional overdrive unit ensuring top speed motoring is more relaxed. This was fitted by its most recent owner and is relatively new. The upgraded seats offer a welcome level of comfort to the front passengers along with the deluxe door cards and footwell matting providing a more sophisticated feel. Though the back seats have been left more suited to storage, we are happy to provide a quote for trim work to carry more passengers.
