- Desirable Mulliner specification example

Introduced in 1998, the Arnage marked a pivotal moment in Bentley's history, re-establishing the marque as a producer of truly driver-focused luxury saloons. More than simply a successor to the Turbo R, it laid the foundations for Bentley's resurgence in the twenty-first century, combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary performance and engineering.
At the heart of the Arnage T was Bentley's celebrated 6¾-litre turbocharged V8, an engine whose origins could be traced back to 1959. Endowed with immense reserves of torque and effortless performance, it gave the Arnage T remarkable cross-country pace while retaining the refinement and composure expected of a flagship Bentley. Few luxury saloons of its era could rival its combination of power, presence and long-distance capability.
The highly desirable Mulliner specification elevated the Arnage still further. Drawing upon Bentley's historic coachbuilding division, Mulliner models featured enhanced craftsmanship and sporting appointments, including diamond-quilted hide upholstery, unique trim details and distinctive alloy wheels, creating some of the most sought-after examples produced at Crewe during the model's lifetime.
Finished in the timeless combination of Beluga Black over Magnolia quilted hide, this example presents beautifully. The sumptuous interior features quilted leather upholstery with diamond-pattern stitching to the seats and door panels, complemented by richly figured burr walnut veneers throughout the cabin. Alloy sports pedals and other Mulliner-specific details complete the specification.
The Bentley has been in current ownership since 2019 and is accompanied by an exceptionally comprehensive maintenance record. Serviced exclusively by Bentley main dealers throughout its early life, the history records annual Bentley servicing from delivery through to 2013. More recently, maintenance has been entrusted to respected Rolls-Royce and Bentley specialist N. Sandell, with substantial expenditure reflecting conscientious long-term upkeep.
The accompanying history file documents extensive works including servicing, suspension repairs, battery replacement, alloy wheel refurbishment, engine flushes, corrosion protection treatment, hydraulic pipe renewal, drive mounts, ignition system components, cooling system maintenance, tyre replacement and numerous other preventative maintenance measures. Most recently, the car benefited from an oil service, health check and comprehensive 86-point inspection in May 2026.
Today, the Arnage T is increasingly recognised as one of the last traditionally hand-built Bentleys, combining immense V8 performance, imposing road presence and exceptional craftsmanship. In desirable Mulliner specification and supported by an outstanding maintenance history, this handsome example represents a particularly appealing opportunity to acquire one of Crewe's most charismatic modern grand touring saloons.
