We sold this delightful 75 about eighteen months ago and it is now back on the market as the owner has moved to a property with no garage.
This rare six cylinder P3 Rover has been the subject of much recent expenditure including a full engine rebuild by specialists, a new petrol tank, a refurbished steering box and work on the brakes and suspension. We have just replaced the front shock absorbers and the car drives and handles beautifully. With the 2. 1 litre, six cylinder engine, the Rover will cruise at 50-60 mph all day.
The gearbox has just been rebuilt and a new clutch has been fitted.
The interior is excellent with refurbished woodwork, unmarked seats and carpets and a working sunroof. The freewheel works correctly as does the driver's window mechanism associated with Rovers of this period.
A superb, usable Forties classic saloon with the added bonus of still having its original registration number GVE 2.
