This is a car for driving and not for wafting around at a show in! It is very quick - in fact, the quickest non-race MGA we have had - that is because it is fitted with an early 3-bearing MGB engine, and it is rumoured that it is slightly tuned (although we can't prove this). It has up-rated front brakes with drilled discs, so it stops well. It is a genuine right-hand drive British car, first registered in November 1959 and there have been only two owners, the first lady owner having the car until 1999. It was rebuilt over a three year period from 1989 to 1991 and although it is now a little 'scruffy' in the paintwork department, this somehow adds to its desirability and charm. There is a hood and two side-screens but these have not been used for many years. Full length tonneau cover. The interior of the car is original and although a little tired, we think it could be revitalised. The car is very sound and sits on again, sound wire wheels with good tryres. Recent rear exhaust box. Just ready to get in and have some fun driving it! V5C, good history file with invoices, old MOTs, old log book.
