Used as Lancia intended, this striking Lord Blue ‘Evo II’ version of the famous homologation special Lancia Delta Integrale isn’t a garage queen but it’s been pampered like one.
With 130, 000 kms and regarded by many as the one to have in ‘Evo II’ spec, it’s been owned by collectors throughout its life, and is ready for its next adventure.
For those that aren’t aware, the Evo II specification was introduced in 1993 with an updated version of the two-litre, 16-valve turbo engine to produce more power and torque. Although this specific car has been upgraded to produce around 240 bhp thanks to a Walkers stage one tune.
Alongside the engine, the looks were also updated to retain the boxy stance, and included 16" light alloy rims with 205/ 45 ZR 16 tyres, body colour roof moulding to underline the connection between the roof and the solar tinted windows, aluminium fuel cap and air-intake grilles on the front mudguards, red colour coded cam cover, leather-covered three-spoke Momo steering wheel and Recaro seats as standard.
With stacks of history, including when it spent time in Brussels from 1996 to 2000, alongside timing belt changes at each interval and major engine maintenance in 2018, not to mention charming patina, we haven’t seen one this well looked after or rust-free for a long time. It wants for nothing and has a fail-free MOT history for the past 13 years in a row.
