This is an exceptionally well maintained Aston Martin DB6 with only two owners in 53 years. It has been and continues to be lavished with care and attention by its owners and the specialists that have maintained it.

The DB6 is the most sorted of the pre-V8 models. Compared to the DB4 and DB5, comfort, refinement and space were superior making this an easier car to live with. This particular car is in its original Silver Birch paintwork with manual transmission and was upgraded to Vantage Specification in 1991. The addition of the Weber carburettors add a level of driving pleasure and excitement that the the SU equivalent simply didn’t have.
First launched at the London Motor Show in October 1965, the Aston Martin DB6 was the natural continuation from the DB4 and DB5. This new distinctive model offered a higher roof line and longer wheelbase to achieve greater head and leg room. Other prominent features included the distinctive Kamm tail, split front and rear bumpers, re-designed oil cooler opening, together with front quarter lights.
Supplied new on the 14th of October and registered to Guy Salmon to H. R. Owen Limited in South Kensington London the car was originally presented in Silver Birch with Navy Connolly leather trim. Optional extras included manual ZF 5 speed transmission, chrome road wheels with three eared hub caps, heated rear screen, front seat belts and power aerial and windows.
After 18 years of ownership this car is now for sale and its exceptional maintenance record and current condition mean this car is ready to be enjoyed immediately.
