Mr Darcys are offering for sale, this extremely clean Toyota Landcruiser BJ42.
The BJ 42 model is very rare, and this one was a last month of production in December 1984. Toyota used the BJ40 Body series as a test ground for the new BJ70. They installed a 3. 4ltr engine and 5 speed gearbox, Disc brakes and Power steering, This made the BJ42 a lot more desirable to drive over the BJ40 due to the upgrades. The BJ42 was only produced in their hundreds in the RHD. The heavy duty axel, springs , and shocks, were all factory extras, which made the 42 nearly twice the price of the 40 when launched. This particular jeep spent its first 32 years in Australia with the first owner, and was then in Portugal up until 2016 where it received a full respray. Its current owner has kept it in storage since then, and its now time to sell it on. This is most definitely a rust free example, and will pass any test you wish to conduct.
It will need a new battery, which is on order, but it drives as it should, and everything works as it should.
