So sad to see it go but unfortunately circumstances dictate this sale! Had a baby last year and just don't get to drive it anymore.
It's an Austin Mini 850cc, D-Reg (1966) in Grey
Lots of original features such as slide open windows, a manual hand pump for the windscreen wash, main beam is a button on the floor (push with your foot!) and the lights/ indicators are operated with a flick switch.
It has a lovely wooden Moto Lita steering wheel (we also have the original)
There is a custom headlamp bar on the front and new mini headlights
Mini moto alloy wheels with good tyres
And very cool leather belts on the bonnet
The car is in good condition and is lovely to drive. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it and it is a definite head-turner. I have been to loads of mini nights at the Ace Cafe (first Thurs of the month) and it always gets the most attention and is usually the oldest and smartest there.
Of course because of its age it is tax exempt, but you do have to apply for a tax disc every year, it's just free.
When I was 21 the insurance was about £30 a month.
Currently being MOTd.
I'm looking for £4450 but I am open to near offers.
