This is an excellent early Morris 8, nicely finished in maroon and black, with black wire wheels. The car was fully restored a few years ago by a previous owner. The bodywork is excellent (there are one or two minor blemishes), with well-fitting doors and the underside is extremely good, including chassis and running gear. The interior is really lovely, having had a quality re-trim at the time of restoration including headlining, seats, door cards and wheel arch coverings. Good tyres, recent battery. Luggage rack and opening windscreen, interior semaphore mirrors and even the original supplier's plate - James Fryer of Leominster. The engine starts easily and runs sweetly with good oil pressure, and provides lively performance. The gearbox is a later four-speed unit, which makes the car more useable in modern-day traffic. It also has hydraulic brakes as standard. Ready for immediate use. V5C, buff coloured continuation book from 1963. Heritage Certificate, confirming that this is the car’s original registration number.
