Corre La Licorne, like many French companies in the 1920s, had its ups and downs, its difficult beginnings... and its lawsuits. This group of passionate motorists started out, like many others, with motorbikes and tricycles. But faced with a difficult market and sales that were slow to take off, they turned to racing. It was racing driver Waldemar Lestienne who really turned the brand's fortunes around, with a string of victories in the early 1900s. And so Corre La Licorne was born, with a unicorn adorning its emblem.
Their range of vehicles was limited but pragmatic, and in 1922 the brand launched one of its most successful models of the decade: the B7 W4. True to the spirit of the brand, this model was distinguished by its mechanical simplicity, robustness and low maintenance costs. But, as this example shows, with its elegant lines and embroidered interior, that didn't stop them from paying particular attention to detail.
Restored in 1983, this is a model of great sophistication. Clad in an elegant green with wood trim, it boasts an unusual long, closed body and a particularly evocative interior. We're told it's in perfect working order and ready to go to its next lucky owner.20250308_111054 CLEMENT.jpg868.09 KB
