The Appeal
It’s a cliché to say something was “ahead of its time,” but in the case of the Honda CB750, it’s not just true—it’s almost an understatement. The CB750 basically reinvented what a motorcycle could be in the 1970s, and this 1975 K-series model is a particularly fine specimen of that legacy. Finished in a rich blue metallic hue with gold and white pinstriping, this CB750K looks as dazzling now as it likely did in the window of a Honda showroom half a century ago.
It’s not a showroom ornament though. With just two former keepers and under 14,000 miles, this example has been clearly cherished. The chrome glints in the sun, the tank shines with an almost alarming clarity, and even the switchgear and gauges are neatly preserved. There are a few small cosmetic marks—especially around the tank edge—but frankly, if you’re 50 years old and all that’s wrong with you is a few scuffs on the hip, you’re doing well.
Whether you’re into classic bikes, investment-grade 1970s machinery, or just want something to polish and nod at in the garage with pride, this is a fantastic candidate.

The Condition
The bike presents in superb overall condition, especially for its age. The blue metallic paint still gleams, though there are some minor surface scratches around the seat line. Chrome trim and engine casings are exceptionally clean, and the Honda badging remains vibrant and original.
The seat vinyl looks uncracked and tidy, the seat foam and cover was replaced by PK Seats, the switchgear is in working order, and all dials and gauges show only modest ageing. Mechanically it looks spot on, with no visible corrosion or major damage to the structure. The right hand side panel has a crack in it, although this has been reinforced on the inside to stabilise it. Both tyres were replaced in May 2024.

- Invoice shows ignition coil replacement (April 2024)
