This 1980 example has been the subject of a thorough, ground-up restoration carried out approximately seven years ago by a well-known UK specialist, reportedly at a cost in excess of £50,000. The shell was completely stripped and sandblasted before being rebuilt with new panels, while the engine, gearbox, and back axle were all rebuilt. Since completion, the car has been dry stored. A newly rebuilt five-speed gearbox has been fitted for improved long-distance usability, and the original rebuilt four-speed gearbox is included in the sale.
