The Appeal
The TR4A IRS was the final, most refined evolution of Giovanni Michelotti's iconic design. Fitted with independent rear suspension in place of the somewhat maligned live axle found on earlier TR4s, the IRS variant offers a more composed and capable drive, and it has long been the version most coveted by enthusiasts and collectors alike. It's certainly the most eminently drivable in the day-to-day.
This 1967 example wears British Racing Green over a freshly trimmed beige interior, a combination that suits the car well. Restored in 2022 and subsequently treated to a further mechanical overhaul along with completely new upholstery, it presents as a well-sorted and ready-to-enjoy British sports car.
Fully documented for road use in France, this TR4A IRS is ready and waiting for its lucky new keeper.
