The Appeal

It is always hard to best Porsche’s engineers, but specialist RPM Technik achieved exactly that. Among its range of upgrades for the 996 is the highly regarded CSR package that provides a range of cosmetic and mechanical upgrades to deliver a more focused and engaging driver’s car.

This car was given the CSR makeover in 2017 and is build number CSR015. The comprehensive upgrades include Öhlins suspension, Eibach anti-roll bars, a GT3 aero kit, and RPM's in-house upgraded IMS bearing - addressing the known weak point of these engines. Inside the car features the GT3 console delete which enthusiasts value because it cleans the dash line and adds extra leg room for the driver.

This 996 CSR presents well with its documented history and continuous maintenance, with 18 service book entries from Porsche main dealers and specialists. The current MOT contains no advisories.

The current keeper has invested significantly in the car, with £11,000 spent at RPM Technik in 2021 for engine-out maintenance and other improvements. This work included a new clutch and an upgraded IMS bearing.

Finished in classic Arctic Silver with black leather interior and riding on staggered 18-inch genuine Fuchs alloy wheels, this Porsche has the style and enhancements to stand out.
