Beskrivning
DNA 2fifty California body kit for a BMW Z3. If you are looking at this listing you probably know that this kit has been discontinued and no others will be produced. This is probably the last unstarted kit available, miss it and you won’t get another chance.
There are 2 finished kits for sale on eBay at the moment, £92k & £99k. If you finish this kit to a good standard you will be able to make a substantial profit.
This is a very well produced and finished kit, paint and prep won’t take long. The problem with cheap kits is that you have to spend months sanding them down to get them to a suitable finish. They then often come up on eBay as an “Unfinished Project”. All the body panels unbolt from the Z3, you can strip it in a day. No welding or cutting so it does not need an IVA test, just a form to the DVLA to change the name of the car.
May consider Cobra (not Tribute) or Dino kit car, finished or unfinished.
Kit consists of
Front and rear clams
Double skinned bonnet and boot
Double skinned doors
Front grill and surround
Windscreen surround
Metal brackets for mounting
Bonnet hinges
Build video
Rear lights
Door & boot handles
Perspex headlight covers
Side vents
Bumpers
Wiper motor
Wheel arch liners
Add a decent Z3 donor £3k
Wire wheels and bits & bobs £3k
Quality paint job £3k
+ cost of kit, you will see that there is quite a profit margin.
Kit is located in Marlow, Bucks. You will need a Luton van to collect, or I can probably arrange delivery at buyers cost,
Overseas buyers, I can probably get a quote for shipping overseas but I’m sure
It won’t be cheap.
Cash on collection or bank transfer.
I am listing this for a friend who doesn’t use the internet and doesn’t like the experience of selling second hand cars so he has asked me to help him sell it.
