1964 Bentley S3
This wonderful Bentley S3 (Chassis number B52FG) was completed at Bentley’s Crewe works on 12 June, 1964 and is in exceptional rust-free structural condition. Finished in two-tone Tudor Red over Burgundy, the car has spent most of its life in Attadale, Australia, and returned to England in 2015 when Dr Samuel, its elderly-doctor owner, returned to Kent for his retirement. Prior to this, Dr Samuel purchased the car in 2009 from Mr Charles Chelliah in 2009 for AUS$60, 000, whom we understand was Australia’s leading classic car collector and dealer and operated the “Classic Cars Australia” business. The car is in outstanding structural and mechanical condition and has passed all UK MOTs with flying colours. We sourced this S3 for its current owner in 2019 who has thoroughly enjoyed it over the past few years but it now makes way for a new toy. The car is on the button and the effectiveness of the air condition system is akin to a modern Bentley, making it a very useable car indeed. It would, however, benefit from new paint, which has faded and become brittle in the Australian sunshine but provides a blank canvas for her next owner. Ready to view at our West London showroom.
