The Ghibli name was resurrected with the unveiling of the 1992 Ghibli (Tipo AM336), a two-door, four-seater coupé with twin-turbo V6 engines. Like the V8 Maserati Shamal, it was an evolution of the previous Biturbo coupés; the doors, interior, and basic bodyshell were carried over from the Biturbo.
According to Maserati Classiche this example was built in April 1997 and delivered to the Japanese market with it's 2, 790cc engine, Automatic Gearbox, "Grigio Silver" paint and Beige leather interior.
It has a 2. 8 litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine producing 284bhp, driving the rear wheels via a four-speed ZF automatic transmission.

It has a well documented Service History and original owner's manual.
Imported in May 2016, and is a typical Japanese market car in that it appears to be rust free and the underneath is like new, as road salt is not used in Japan.
The GT was the last specification of Ghibli and has the Ferrari 456 derived rear differential and rear suspension developed for the Ghibli open cup race series cars.
