MGB roadster for restoration. Early pull door handle model, in its original colour Iris Blue (mostly first or second paint).
This 1964 MGB is in need of a complete restoration. The body will need structural work (new inner and outer sills, new floors, repair work to the crossmember, both side members and both battery frames, lower front wings and lower rear wings). The boot floor is very solid and the car shows no signs of previous collision damage.
All mechanical components will require a complete rebuild. The car is believed to still have its original engine (18GA 3 bearing motor, correct for the model year) and gearbox (normal 4-speed, no overdrive). The engine is frozen and the condition of the gearbox is unknown. Missing items include the starter, gearbox mounting crossmember, clutch, both seat frames and one half of the convertible top frame. 2 of 5 disc wheels are incorrect for the car.
The interior's original colour was dark blue. Complete set of gauges, with odometre indicating 97. 702 mls.
The car is originally from Montana, USA. It comes with a US title and EU import documents (duties paid). Delivery throughout Europe can be arranged at competitive rates.
