The Appeal
The Triumph TR4, with its Michelotti-penned lines and robust 2.2-litre four-cylinder engine, was a natural choice for rally enthusiasts throughout the 1960s. To this day, they're a common sight at rallies and in the world of classic motorspot - a truly legendary member of the British Sports Car fraternity.
This 1964 example is presented in Signal Yellow with a white Surrey Top and has been tastefully prepared in period rally specification. It has been extensively used on regularity rallies and is reported to have been very well maintained throughout its life. The previous owner kept the car for 31 years, and it is supplied with a valid FIVA Identity Card confirming its historic authenticity and eligibility for historic touring and rally events.
Inside, the black competition interior features period-style rally bucket seats with four-point harnesses, rally instruments, and the walnut dashboard with Smiths gauges. Performance and visual upgrades include Weber carburettors, auxiliary lamps, and Minilite alloy wheels. DSC05469 Robin Mous.jpg3.07 MB
