The Appeal
The Lancia Fulvia Coupé is one of the great rally cars of the 20th century, its compact V4 engine, front-wheel drive, and nimble handling having carried the model to the 1972 International Rally Championship, and further accentuated by its peerless looks on the circuit. It was the favourite of drivers and observers alike.
The 'Fanalone' - Lancia's wide-bodied, large-headlamp homologation special - remains among the most coveted variants, and rally-prepared examples in this style are highly prized on the historic rallying scene. Needless to say, we're very confident this car will garner plenty of attention as a result.
This particular Fulvia Coupé 1.3, affectionately named 'Gianna', has been built to compete at the highest level of historic regularity rallying. Rally-prepared in Fanalone style by Dutch marque specialist Vere Lancia, the car has been in the hands of its current owner since June 2012 and has been continuously developed and maintained throughout that time. Across numerous events, it has recorded only a single non-finish, and its last outing was the 2025 Tulip Rally, a 3,500 km home-to-home run completed without any issues.
The vendor confidently reports that the car is 'in the best condition of its life' and it is sold ready for the next big event.P1020470 Klaus Müller.JPG2.78 MB
