The Appeal
The Jaguar 420, produced for just two years between 1966 and 1968, was an evolution of Jaguar's sporting saloon lineage. Combining the elegant four-headlamp front end, which previewed the iconic XJ6, with the proven mechanicals of the S-Type, the 420 was a mightily appealing product. With fewer than 10,000 built, good surviving examples are becoming increasingly scarce.
This 1967 example has been part of a private collection, where it has benefited from indoor storage and careful upkeep. Purchased as a solid and original car, we're informed that it remains largely factory-standard and retains much of its period character throughout. The vendor describes it as mechanically sound, starting, running, and driving well. Both the exterior and interior are in keeping with a well-maintained car of this era, carrying an appealing age-appropriate patina.
For those seeking a usable, well-kept example of this handsome and increasingly hard-to-find model, this 420 warrants serious consideration.IMG_2754 Amine.jpeg1.58 MB
