The Appeal

The Fiat 500 L (Lusso) represents the more luxurious variant of Fiat's iconic city car - though it isn't exactly a Bentley. The Lusso featured a more elaborate set of trims and some extra chromework, while reamining very recognisable and distinctly Spartan. It was, however, all it needed - it became a big hit and is amongst the best picks for a Fiat 500 to this day.

This particular 1971 example stands out for its remarkable originality and low ownership history, having had just two registered keepers since new. Originally beige in colour (as evidenced by the preserved beige interior), the second owner purchased the vehicle in 2002 and customised it with an eye-catching yellow taxi exterior paint, checkered fabric roof, and a sporty steering wheel.
