The Appeal
The factory Karmann Beetles exude an upright charm that is popular with enthusiasts. But if you want something a little lower and more louche, but still with Beetle-based open top fun, then you want this smart ‘72 convertible conversion.
Finished in white with black wheels, whitewalls and smart interior, it is a stylish one-off that comes to market fresh from a £8,500 makeover by specialist Carrosserie. That work included a bespoke new roof, door seals, engine work and a brake system overhaul. At the same time the car was serviced and received a new carburettor. The engine was rebuilt in June 2023.
You could keep this stylish bug ‘as is’ and enjoy it straight away, or there is obvious scope to take the individualisation a step further. Whichever you choose, it’s looks fun for friends and family.
The vendor says:
"Beautiful looking Beetle. Would make an excellent wedding car or great for a classic enthusiast who enjoys working on these type of cars as they require regular maintenance and you can always do more with them to your taste or standard."
