The R107-generation Mercedes-Benz 380SL remains one of the most sought-after open-top grand tourers of the 1980s. Its silky 3.8-litre V8 and relaxed automatic transmission made it a supremely refined cruiser when new, aided by distinctly contemporary, sharp-edged styling, all of which continues to attract enthusiasts today. This 1980 example retains its factory-standard specification and really looks the part.

Acquired by the current owner in May 2022, the car has been garage-stored and carefully maintained.
