What makes it special

The Ducati 600 SL Pantah holds an important place in the history of Bologna’s brand. Unveiled in the early 1980s, it was the first production Ducati to adopt belt-driven desmodromic valve actuation—a design that would go on to equip the brand’s sport bikes for several decades.
With its distinctive lattice frame and unmistakably Italian style, the Pantah is today regarded as one of the most striking models in Ducati’s modern history.
This 1981 example is presented in metallic grey, with a grey leather and Alcantara seat. The seller says the motorcycle is completely original, has never been repainted, and still has its factory-applied red pinstripes. It’s reportedly had just three owners since it entered circulation, including the current one since 2011, and it shows relatively low mileage.
The seller notes that the bike will need to be brought back into running condition, including adding fuel before restarting it. For classic Ducati enthusiasts, this example is an interesting starting point, presented in an on-the-advised condition described as largely original.
