The Appeal
The BMW E32 7-Series represented the pinnacle of German luxury motoring in the late 1980s, but this particular car stands out as a rare modified example. As one of just 25 Koenig Specials widebody conversions ever created for the E32 platform—with only 5 believed to still exist worldwide—this 1987 730i represents a rare opportunity for collectors of modified German classics.
This Belgian-delivered example combines the reliable engineering of BMW's 3.0-litre inline-six with the dramatic aesthetic transformation that made Koenig Specials famous during the excess-loving 1980s. Having been fully resprayed in 2022, this well-documented Beemer presents in fine order throughout, complete with its original books and a certificate of authenticity confirming its status as a genuine Koenig creation.
