Highlights
- Sympathetically upgraded RX7 Turbo
- Large history file of ongoing maintenance
- Rare, quick and great-handling JDM car
The Appeal
The sixth generation RX-7 was lighter, quicker and more engaging than its predecessors. That makes it not just one of the best of Mazda’s clever Wankel-engined sports cars, but a gem amongst JDM cars.
This 1992 RX-7 is one of the Japanese-market ‘Efini’ models that arrived in the UK in 2014. It has had just two enthusiast keepers since. Finished in ‘Chaste White’ it looks largely standard - just some purposeful Koenig alloys to enhance the stance - but there are some modifications to note to the running gear and engine in the photos.
The panelwork and interior are well kept and there is a good history file attesting to its care in Japan and UK.
