The Appeal
The XJS was not a car of subtlety. Big, bold lines with a distinctly angular flavour, rear buttresses and a palatial cabin - not to mention big, powerful engines. For a company that was expected to rest on the laurels of the E-Type, it was a real change of flavour - and one that's endured just as much.
