The Appeal
Debuted at the 1993 Geneva Motorshow, the Aston Martin DB7 represented something of a departure for Aston Martin, as well as the breakout styling design of renowned car designer Ian Callum.
The DB7 was positioned as an affordable entry into the Aston Martin world and relied on Jaguar-based architecture, as well as many off-the-shelf components. This makes a DB7 one of the “safest” used exotic car purchases you can buy today.
This particular example is nicely presented in a very traditional and understated colour combination and comes with a large history file to reassure any potential owner. One of the most attainable ways of owning a luxury grand-tourer with pedigree and heritage.
The History and Paperwork
- Registered in 1997
- Current owner since 2010
- Comes with a large folder of history and maintenance
- Current MOT valid until February 2027
The Condition
- General overall condition inside and out is very clean and in line with a vehicle which has been cherished and well looked after
- The car wears its original and very attractive 12 spoke Speedline alloy wheels
- The wood veneer interior trim appears in good condition and is complemented by an optional matching half-wood steering wheel
- Interior leather trim presents very well with a light patina in line with the car’s age
The Mechanics
- Supercharged 3.2-litre straight-six engine
- Four-speed automatic transmission
- The owner informs that during their ownership, the car has been “maintained by myself and local garage”, with the owner commenting that the car “Runs extremely well. Starts first time”
Minor faults which the new owner may wish to investigate:
- Non-functioning cruise control
- AC system which, according to the owner, “needs at least a re-gas”
- Remote locking system disabled
- The car does require new brake discs on the front, and also requires an ABS sensor to be replaced or cleaned. This is causing the warning light to intermittently trigger

✓ The seller is registered as a private seller which means consumer rights stemming from EU consumer protection law do not come into effect. However, you are still covered by Car & Classic’s own Terms and Conditions..
✓ We request that a non-refundable fee be paid if you are the lucky winning bidder at auction or if your offer is accepted Please refer to our helpful FAQs and T&Cs for specific rates.

✓ We want a smooth transaction just as much as you do and as such we run all UK-registered cars and motorbikes for sale on Car & Classic through an online HPI check to verify that they show no insurance database markers for damage or theft, and have no finance owing, allowing you to bid with confidence.
✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as being written off as part of an insurance total loss claim at the time an advert is placed on Car & Classic and we helpfully provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance. However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it is always worthwhile carrying out your own full vehicle history check before making an offer on a vehicle.
✓ Buyers are responsible for vehicle collection
or delivery. Importing vehicles may result in additional customs duties and import taxes so it's worth checking beforehand. It is the bidders responsibility to confirm import eligibility prior to purchase.
