The Appeal
With the earliest cars now nudging 30 years old, the XK8 is having a moment among enthusiasts, and with good reason. These big grand tourers are the consummate all-rounders, perfect for pootling to a car show or the pub at weekends, or barrelling across Europe on a summer road trip.
When you look for one, there are plenty about, but likely few with the condition, low mileage and provenance of this one. It is a two-keeper car, the first to 2024, and has covered less than 39,500 miles. Despite the limited use it has been serviced continuously throughout its life by main dealers and well-regarded marque specialists. The servicing run to 2025 with few miles covered since.
Finished in a rare and rather enticing shade of blue/green metallic, it presents well across the usual XK8 check areas including sills, floors and rear arches. The seven spoke factory alloys benefit from a 2024 refurbishment and are fitted with recent quality Avon rubber. The MOT runs to May 2026 with no advisories.
This is the kind of XK8 you want to find - right spec, excellent history and clearly enthusiast-owned. We expect this one to be popular.
The vendor says:
“The car drives beautifully, its wonderfully comfortable and composed at speed but can turn into a car far more agile than most people think when the opportunity presents itself to push on. I'm biased but I think the looks of the car are bettered only by the view from inside driving on a dark evening with those gorgeous blue dials set into the wood, looking out over that characteristic Jaguar nose. I think XK8's are appreciating modern classics and there are very few left like this one.”
