The DB9 marked a watershed moment for Aston Martin when it arrived in 2004, being the first model built on the VH platform that would define the marque for over a decade. With its hand-built 6.0-liter V12, impressive 'magic carpet' performance and elegant lines penned by Ian Callum and Henrik Fisker, it remains one of the most highly regarded grand tourers of the modern era - a timeless modern classic if ever there was one, that continues to be perennially popular.
This particular example was first registered by Aston Martin themselves on 8th June 2004 for use as a high-specification show car and demonstrator. It was subsequently acquired by a private collector who kept it for approximately 18 years as part of a large collection, before the current seller added it to their own.
