The Appeal
Since the 1960s, Maserati has been Italy’s premier purveyor of grand touring cars, those svelte two-seater and 2+2 coupes built for high-speed continental crossing. So when its new M145 coupe arrived in 2007, the choice of name was obvious.
Beautifully styled by Pininfarina and powered by a Ferrari-built V8, the Gran Turismo is the cossetting, comfortable alternative to other home-grown supercars. The simply named S arrived in 2009, equipped with the larger, more powerful 4.7L 440bhp version of the F136 V8. This car is also fitted with the lightning fast Graziano MC Shift 6spd semi-automatic gearbox, similar to the units used in contemporary Ferraris.
Despite the multifold appeal of that engine, this car’s handful of keepers have somehow managed to keep the mileage below 22,000 miles from new. That figure is verified by MOT records and servicing history. The stamped service book shows a run of regular attention by main dealers and Maserati specialists like Shiltech. The last service was in early 2025 when the car also received wheel alignment and a gearbox service. By time and mileage the car will be due a further service. The current MOT runs to March 2027 with no advisories.
A fine example of these highly rated GTs with a very appealing specification and provenance.
