A rare opportunity to purchase a genuine UK supplied RHD Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV for restoration which has recently been extracted from a 30 year hibernation!
The engine runs, showing excellent oil pressure and no smoke. Upon investigation the engine was found to have modified/ re-profiled fast road camshafts, twin 45 Dellorto carburettors and a tubular manifold. It also runs an electric fan.
Unfortunately we have not been able to drive the car due to failed clutch and brake hydraulics, but it does roll freely.
The car is finished in its original factory AR516 Faggio (maroon) colour with tan interior and contrasting vinyl roof (very 70's).
We believe it was probably taken off the road 30 years ago due to failing its MOT on rust!
Our initial inspection has revealed the following areas but not limited to that will require significant attention:-
Both front jacking point areas/ front of sills.
Off side rear wheelarch and bottoms of rear wing.
Complete lower rear valance.
The car will also benefit from a full respray.
Also comes with a set of 4 genuine Minilite alloys.
