One of only 5,029 examples produced between 2002 and 2005, with the six-speed manual gearbox
One former registered keeper in Japan with service history
Reported to retain its original Rosso Alfa paintwork
Mechanical service carried out at an Alfa Romeo specialist in 2026
Japanese auction grade of 4.5 achieved in 2025
The Appeal
Powered by the hand-built 3.2-litre Busso V6 - widely regarded as one of the finest-sounding engines ever fitted to a production car - and clothed in Walter de Silva's muscular bodywork, the 147 GTA offered a uniquely Italian riposte to the Volkswagen Golf R32 and Ford Focus RS. With just 5,029 built before production ended in October 2005, and only 4,025 of those with the more desirable six-speed manual gearbox, the 147 GTA has become an increasingly collectable modern classic.
This manual example was sourced at auction in Japan in 2025, where it had spent its life with a single registered keeper and recorded 37,000 km. It achieved a Japanese auction grade of 4.5 and is reported to retain its original Rosso Alfa (Code 130) paintwork over the desirable Cuoio Imola two-tone leather interior.
Imported directly to a collector's garage in Poland in February 2026, the car was subsequently treated to a mechanical service at Pablo Garage, an Alfa Romeo specialist, before a European media system with satellite navigation was also installed. Since arriving in Poland, the car has covered only several hundred kilometres. It is now offered for sale as part of a collection reduction.004GBI_6260.jpg4.05 MB

✓ We want a smooth transaction just as much as you do and as such we run all UK-registered cars and motorbikes for sale on Car & Classic through an online HPI check to verify that they show no insurance database markers for damage or theft, and have no finance owing, allowing you to bid with confidence.
✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as being written off as part of an insurance total loss claim at the time an advert is placed and we helpfully provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it's always worthwhile carrying out your own full vehicle history check before making an offer.
