This is a 1974 BMW R60/ 5.
Recently back into stock, as I’ve had the pleasure of owning this one before.
Imported from Belgium by Motorworks around 7 years ago, its had only two owners since, and is a good looking, nice riding example of the increasingly rare / 5 series.
It’s off the button, hot or cold, and comes with many period correct features, such as front drum brake (that works extremely well), Hella switch gear, Magura levers, “toaster” side panels, and of course electric and kick four speed box. There’s even a very rare set of leather, quickly detachable panniers. All a feast for the eyes, and as i say, smashing to ride.
Obviously HPI clear, and Historic status, so MOT exempt, and free road tax.
I can do discounted courier delivery to most parts of the UK, and viewings are welcomed and encouraged, here at JTR Classic BMW, Washington, North East England. I usually have a good selection of Airheads in stock, and YOUR Airhead always considered in part exchange, or outright purchase.
Just a quick footnote……… I’ll be at the Stafford Classic show on the 11th and 12th of October, and will have for sale the usual selection of good, used Airhead parts, ( Koni shocks, seats, silencers, crash bars, etc, etc) so if your after that elusive part, give me a shout and I’ll take it along if I’ve got it.
