Showing just 41k miles, the car has had long-term enthusiast ownership for much of its life, with the previous owner sparing no expense in developing and maintaining it. Every visit to the workshop became an opportunity to improve the car, resulting in one of the most comprehensively upgraded K-Series Caterham's you’ll find.
The 1. 8-litre K-Series engine has been fully rebuilt and professionally upgraded with Wossner forged pistons and connecting rods, Piper race camshafts, lightweight flywheel, VVC delete with vernier pulleys, Emerald K6 ECU and a 4-1 exhaust manifold. Following the rebuild, the engine was dyno tested and produced an impressive 176 BHP, delivering exceptional performance and a thrilling soundtrack.
Further mechanical upgrades include a quick-rack steering rack, front big brake conversion, triple-core aluminium radiator (new), Brose starter motor, new Emerald wiring loom, new fuel tank and new front suspension. Power is delivered through the desirable 6-speed gearbox.
The specification also includes black leather seats with red four-point harnesses, Prisoner alloy wheels and full weather equipment. A large selection of spare parts accompanies the car, including mirrors, wind deflectors, clutch and throttle cables, plus various additional spares. New tyres were fitted approximately 300 miles ago, while the most recent owner has also installed a new battery too.
